Colleen Chang

Colleen brings to renewable energy her career experience in research, writing and organization. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University where she graduated with highest distinction and continued with her education to receive a Juris Doctor from DePaul University. She interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois and at the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Chicago. Ms. Chang defended numerous indigent persons on appeal in criminal cases while employed at the Office of the State Appellate Defender for the Second District of Illinois. The highlight of her legal career included the appeal of a criminal conviction all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court where she prevailed. Ms. Chang changed direction upon her migration to California where she began to focus more on document organization and coaching. Her transition into the world of renewables followed a natural return to her expertise in document drafting and management.
