Founder Kimberlee Centera is a trailblazer in a male dominated industry. She began her career in renewables over 25 years ago at SeaWest Wind Power. In 2013, Kim founded Terrapro Solutions to help fill the needs of the renewable market . She uses her risk management expertise for the development of utility-scale energy projects. She has worked on many high-value projects including the Mount Signal Solar and Buffalo Gap projects. Kimberlee has provided commentary for National Public Radio’s Marketplace. She serves as a speaker and educator at leading energy conferences.
SR. DIRECTOR OF PROJECT TRANSACTIONS
Jennifer Guthrie Purczynski has worked in the renewable energy field for nearly 20 years where she began her career at SeaWest Windpower. She developed more than 250 megawatts of wind power and more than 500 megawatts of operating wind assets in California and Wyoming. While working for Enel Green Power North America, she managed the development of multiple wind, solar and geothermal projects across the U.S. Most recently, she worked for Cielo Wind Power and was responsible for the acquisition of approximately 25 miles of transmission rights of way for wind development in the Texas Panhandle. She also provides counsel on contract management and compliance for third-party wind farm operators and right of way acquisitions and permitting during project development. She holds a Bachelors of Administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Redlands.
DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Rick Haglund has worked on the successful development of major wind and solar energy projects throughout the United States. His expertise includes overseeing the operations of ALTA surveys, civil, environmental, aerial mapping/LIDAR as well as due diligence surveillance, permitting and fatal flaw analysis. He has managed major land acquisition transactions in the wind, solar, and power transmissions market as well as for commercial and residential real estate development. Rick’s responsibilities have included project and program management, risk assessment, research, proposal writing and submission. He is a licensed professional land surveyor in Colorado and Wisconsin. Rick has provided asset due diligence for over 100 utility solar and wind projects across the country. Prior to joining TerraPro Solutions, Rick served as director, energy and renewable business development for Timmons Group and director of business development for Encompass Energy Services. Rick attended the University of Minnesota where he studied civil engineering technology.
Colleen M. Chang brings to renewable energy her career experience in research, writing and organization. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University where she graduated with highest distinction and continued with her education to receive a Juris Doctor from DePaul University. She interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, Northern District of Illinois and at the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Chicago. Ms. Chang defended numerous indigent persons on appeal in criminal cases while employed at the Office of the State Appellate Defender for the Second District of Illinois. The highlight of her legal career included the appeal of a criminal conviction all the way to the Illinois Supreme Court where she prevailed. Ms. Chang changed direction upon her migration to California where she began to focus more on document organization and coaching. Her transition into the world of renewables followed a natural return to her expertise in document drafting and management.
PROJECT TRANSACTION MANAGER
Kirby Johnson began her career in renewable energy at Cielo Wind Services, Inc., where she served as contract and due diligence manager for their domestic pipeline and developer of all offtake marketing in Chile and the US. Johnson brings 12 years of project management experience to TerraPro Solutions and specializes in clearing issues of real estate and title with a focus on prioritizing construction deliverables while anticipating and meeting transaction and title requirements. Johnson holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Alabama, where she was a Capote Fellowship recipient, and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Houston.

Prior to joining TerraPro Solutions, Brittany Newsome served as vice president and state underwriting counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company. During her tenure at Chicago Title she focused on title curative and insurance coverage. Her expertise includes overseeing projects from “cradle to grave,” encompassing land acquisition, construction, permanent debt and out-sale. She also possesses a keen understanding of curative, drafting and ALTA Title policies. Her legal background allows her to speak openly with other counsel, to provide the quickest resolutions to problems. Having worked on the title insurance side, she is familiar with common “asks” and coverage scenarios and can anticipate these for TerraPro’s clients. This ensures the cleanest version proforma, thereby streamlining the work for the client, the lender, tax equity and their respective counsels. She has closed projects worth well over $100 million. Ms. Newsome received her B.A. from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia and her Juris Doctor from Campbell University, Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, Raleigh, North Carolina. Prior to joining Chicago Title, Brittany worked in private practice with a high-volume real estate firm in Greensboro, focusing on residential and commercial transactions. She has been a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 2014.
