Senior Project Manager​

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager​.

The Senior Project Manager will be joining a growing company, working in the expanding Renewable Energy industry. A successful Senior Project Manager will be open to the dynamic project environment at TerraPro Solutions. They will be able to work on their own, remotely with minimal input. They also will be excited to learn new skills and take on higher responsibility. The Senior Project Manager will be client facing and professional at all times. They will report to the Senior Counsel, Director of Projects and be a member of the Project Team, a growing team of real estate and title professionals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will lead projects and be client facing:

  • Comfort with tracking details of project status
  • Understanding next steps of moving project forward, curing curative matters, and preparing projects for financing, sale or closing
  • Commitment to timely responses to client and third parties, juggling numerous projects at once and keeping up with all of the moving parts
  • Understanding and tracking of project budgets, project resources
  • Drafting agendas for meetings, and sending notes following.
  • Understanding value we bring as consultants, emphasizing to client
  • Awareness of sales and growth mindset
  • Promptness in all email and phone correspondence
  • Effective organizational, follow-up and time-management skills with a high level of communication: interpersonal, persuasive, negotiating and relationship-building abilities required
  • Review, identify, and resolve title issues and discrepancies, including but not limited to: Review real property documents related to surface and mineral title chains or abstracts, and renewable energy; be able to identify and analyze all material or minor issues therein with strict deadlines in mind
  • Draft and explain opinions advising clients of real estate issues
  • Review, draft, and negotiate documents relating to surface and mineral title curative work, property conveyances including large scale leases, and financed or tax equity
  • Manage internal team assigned projects to complete work required
  • Professional, and timely interactions with title insurance companies, in-house and outside counsels, surveyors, clients, and other stakeholders in order to convey
  • status of work and to facilitate resolution of title and other issues as they arise via
  • email, telephone and video conferencing.
  • Understanding of required curative actions for novel and repeated title matters.
  • Ability to review and mark up commercial ALTA survey, and to work with in-house survey team to guide process to client’s satisfaction
  • Willingness to learn, grow and try new things as a part of a dynamic team with many years in this field.
  • Comfort in tracking project time using company time tracking software
  • Ability to meet difficult deadlines; able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Self-starter; comfortable working in remote setting

Key Skills:

  • This position requires an individual that can collaborate with colleagues while also able to work independently with minimal supervision. Have strong ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
  • Comfortable leading conference calls. Also, developing and maintaining strong working relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Ability to manage project deliverables. Has an ability to communicate credibly with legal, real estate and title professionals.
  • Capable of generating specialized correspondence, articles, memos, agendas, or other legal materials.

Education, Skills & Training Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in the title industry, Real Estate Industry and/or Renewable Energy Industry
  •  7+ years required Title examination, abstracting experience, and commercial real estate closing experience is beneficial
  • Experience as a attorney, paralegal or certified project manager is beneficial
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Excel and Word required
  • College Degree required
  • Full-time position

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Prolonged sitting, including as a driver or passenger in an automobile
  • Frequent telephone and in person communication, must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate with others
  • Must be able to see well enough to read the computer screen, review plans and product materials, spot, identify and evaluate potential additional product / service needs while online or onsite with a customer
  • Grasping/Feeling: must be able to write, type, manipulate a mouse, computer keyboard, iPad/tablet, and telephone system
  • Ability to think and process information quickly, clearly and accurately
  • Strong reasoning ability: able to apply common sense understanding to prepare and/or carry out detailed, but uninvolved, written or oral instructions; able to deal logically, calmly and effectively with problems and people.
  • Ability to travel
