Kimberlee Centera, founder of TerraPro Solutions, shared her journey and insights into renewable energy at WCS 2018. With over 25 years of experience, she highlighted the challenges and opportunities for women in the field.
Starting with small wind power developers, Centera eventually led her own consulting business. She stressed the importance of vision, especially in an industry with no clear path. Her advice: “Be a leader now—don’t wait for that promotion,” urging women to take charge in any role.
As a champion of inclusivity, Centera pointed out the growing corporate interest in supporting women in renewables. She believes women deserve a seat at the table and should create their own paths. Her story reminds us that vision, perseverance, and leadership are vital for success in renewable energy.
